OUR GOAL
Kylee impacted everyone who knew her in a big way. She had a fighter spirit and we know she would want to help other kids and families who are going through what she went through.

We want to come together as a community to rally around children and families who spend an extended period of time in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). These families are going through the hardest time in their lives and often they will not ask for help. Or if they do, there are few resources that provide support.

Our goal is to raise funds to help ease their financial burden. As well as collect unused medical supplies and gently used medical equipment for families in need.
We want to lessen PICU parents' stress so they can focus on their child.

KYLEE
Smylee was created in honor of Kylee Govoni. Kylee suffered from an extremely rare disease called, 6-Pruvoyl-Tetrahyropterin Synthase Deficiency. Mutations in the PTS gene affected her brain severely and caused her to be globally delayed. She spent 10 months in the PICU at Mass General Hospital before she passed away on March 16, 2024.

Kylee was a beatiful, smiley, sixteen year old girl despite spending most of her life in and out of the hospital. When Kylee passed in March, we decided we wanted to give back and help other families who are struggling while their child is in the hospital.

This foundation will give back to families with children who are sick in the PICU.
